VIDIO is an online tool that automates the repetitive parts of video editing. It does not generate footage - you bring your own material and VIDIO handles the mechanical passes over it, positioning itself as a way to edit "10x faster and 10x cheaper" without installing software. The automation covers the tasks editors would otherwise do by hand: scene detection, cutting, transitions, music overlay and effect control, plus highlight reel generation with automatic jump-cuts and removal of silent gaps. A second group of tools handles repair and enhancement rather than assembly - stabilisation for shaky footage, audio noise removal, 4K upscaling, frame interpolation to 4x the frame rate, object tracking, rotoscoping and motion graphics.

Face blurring and licence plate blurring are available for footage where identifiable people or vehicles need obscuring before publication. What distinguishes VIDIO from a standalone editor is where the output goes. It exports XML for Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, so the automated pass lands as a timeline in the editor you already use and you keep finishing there. That makes it a front-end step in an existing post-production workflow rather than a replacement for it.

Footage can be pulled from Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive, and it integrates with GoPro, Canon and DJI cameras. The vendor names a broad set of users - content creators and vloggers, podcasters, marketers, small business owners, wedding videographers, travel bloggers, reporters and amateur sports enthusiasts - and pitches the service as usable without professional editing expertise. There is a free plan, with paid tiers from $8 a month; the heavier processing such as upscaling and rotoscoping sits on the higher tiers.
